A Tried & True Design + Construction Process

Freedom Design + Build, Inc. 3-Phase Process protects everyone’s best interests with a tried & true step-by-step approach. We’ve created this unique process in a very specific order to gather the information we need, when we need it, to make the most important decisions at the appropriate times.

Our 3-phase process is composed to make your design + build experience seamless. We take the time to discover important information about your project upfront. This reduces surprises & results in minimal to no change orders later in the process. You are the most important designer on the team. As the homeowner, you know best how you and your family will want to live in and utilize your space. Your input is essential when you partner with our team.

After thoroughly reviewing your needs and design inspiration, the Freedom Design + Build, Inc. team will thoughtfully prepare a detailed proposal within two weeks, including a detailed scope of work with realistic pricing and timelines. We will never promise a lower price or a faster timeline than what is realistically achievable.

Here is what you can expect

Architectural Design + Feasibility Study

As we begin Phase I, our design team looks forward to collaborating with you to bring your ideas to life!

Here is what you can expect during Phase I with Freedom Design + Build, Inc.:

A thorough site documentation
Composition of your 3D model using state-of-the-art technology
The creation of design concepts that aid in the further refinement of our goals, pricing, & expectations

At the end of Phase I, you will have updated pricing, floorplan drawings + renderings, & a Phase II Design Agreement in hand.

Selections + Engineering + Tradewalk + CONTRACT

As we move into Phase II, our team’s focus shifts to the finer details & you will begin to visualize the colors, textures, lighting, & outfit of your completed project!

During Phase II you can expect:

Schedule of estimated timelines
Selections portfolio
Contract drawings
The option to experience your space in virtual reality

While we’re working on your selections together, we’re also working on engineering so that no time is lost.

At the end of Phase II, you’ll receive a construction contract, that notes pricing, estimated timelines, & every option we selected together. You’ll also receive your selections portfolio, contract drawings, & the option to experience your space in virtual reality.

Permitting + Production Scheduling + Construction

Once we have a construction contract in hand, we submit for building permits. Every project’s permitting process is unique, as are the timeline expectations. Once we have a permit in hand, we begin our production planning to coordinate scheduling & order materials.

We’ll kick off the project with an Onsite Pre-Construction Meeting where we’ll ensure alignment on communication, project schedule, & job site logistics.

job site, attention to detail, & award-winning design & craftsmanship. You can expect us
to honor our commitments before, during, & after your project is completed.
